3 X 1980s Sarah Hall Cocktail Dresses

• The dress sizes are as follows,Red & Black sequin 2 piece will fit a bust 32”, waist 28”, skirt length 15”, the jacket is across the back 13”, sleeve length 22” and length from nape to hem is 16
• Burgundy velvet and purple shot taffeta skirt will fit a bust 36”, waist 29” and the length of the skirt is 16”.
• The dresses are all designed and made by the designer Sarah Hall who was famous in the 1980s for her classic styles and shapes especially for evening and cocktail wear.
• The red and black sequin dress has a matching bolero jacket. The skirt is made out of black chiffon with several layers, the bodice is boned.
• The burgundy velvet and purple dress has a boned fitted burgundy velvet bodice with a full mini skirt made out of a shot purple taffeta which has layers of net underneath.
• The black velvet dress has a purple dupion silk ruffle down the side which then has a purple silk bow on the hip.
• Condition – In good vintage condition, the red and black dress has some sequins missing in places. The burgundy velvet and shot taffeta dress has been taken in at the back and then unsewn, the marks should come out with a steam iron, the blue organza shawl collar is an addition. The black velvet just needs the bow sewn back as it has come loose.
