Black Tailcoat Tailored for Sir John Mills in 1953 by Sullivan, Williams & Co Ltd

Description

• The coat will fit a chest 37”( it measures 19.5” across the chest laying flat), across the back is 18”, sleeve length 22” and the length from nape to hem is 38”.
• The coat was made for Sir John Mills in 1953 by the tailors Sullivan, Williams & Co. Ltd of Conduit Street, London.
• It has a half black velvet collar.  It looks as if it has been re-lined.
• The coat was part of a large costume collection from the famous film and theatrical costumiers Charles. H. Fox of London.
• Condition – In good used condition, there is some moth damage at the front on the right side, images shown.
